About

I am a Garden Designer and Horticulturalist based in Henfield, Nr. Brighton working across Sussex and Surrey. I worked in the Health Service for over 8 years as a Clinical Quality Manager before retraining to become a Horticulturalist and Garden Designer. I studied the RHS Certificate in Horticulture at Brinsbury College and spent a year as a volunteer gardener in the beautiful National Trust Garden at Nymans, near Haywards Heath. I spent a couple of years working in a trade nursery assisting and advising customers on plants. I then left to set up my own garden maintenance business Truely Gardening and over the last eight years have been maintaining and renovating over 20 gardens ranging from small courtyard gardens to large estates. I also provide garden coaching and horticultural advice.

I gained a Diploma in Garden Design at the renowned Garden Design School at Painshill Park in 2012/13, under the tutorage of award-winning designers Robin Templar-Williams and Moira Farnham.

I have worked collaboratively with other designers such as Award Winning Designer Alex Bell on a variety of projects – assisting with design; planting design and horticultural advice. I also provide one-to-one garden coaching and horticultural advice and am a member of the Surrey Garden Design Group (SGDG).
